Classics in Cotter - Movie Night

June 18th:  The first movie in the Classics in Cotter Series will be "Angels in the Outfield," and it is being sponsored by Marcia Taylor and The Ozarks Team, Century 21 LeMac Realty.  This movie will be shown under the historic Cotter bridge.  It is free for everyone.  Donations accepted, but not expected.  Bring your own chair/blanket.  Ol Tex BBQ and Paradice Cream will be on site to take care of us!  Outside food is welcomed, but please clean up after yourself.  Please maintain social distancing when choosing your seating area.  The movie will start at dusk (around 8:30 pm).  For updates, Like and Follow us on Facebook

F3T Under the Bridge

June 19th:  An epic location, under Cotter's historic Rainbow Bridge, on Arkansas' famed White River, will host the F3T (Fly Fishing Film Tour).  The Easternmost pylon of the Ruthven Bridge across the White River will be used as a screen, guests spread across the natural lawn amphitheater of Big Spring Park, local vendors, and the fly fishing community will come together under the stars for a fundraiser for local fishing infrastructure projects.

The event is being sponsored by Dally's Ozark Fly Fisher and Potter Block Properties.  Tickets are $15 a head for the event and are available at Dally's Fly Fisher online Tickets Here.

Gates open for reception with local vendors at 7:45 pm.  Show starts at 8:45pm.

Cotter-Gassville Chamber of Commerce Meeting

June 23rd, 2021:  The Cotter-Gassville Chamber of Commerce monthly meeting will be held on June 23rd, 8 a.m. at The Lazy Dog Flea Market.  The Lazy Dog Flea Market is located at 6017 Hwy 62W next to the Ozark Relics Flea Market at the upper end of the parking lot.  The Cotter-Gassville Chamber is an all-volunteer non-paid group dedicated to our local community.  Please plan to attend and feel free to bring a friend.

Jimmie Creek Paddle

June 26, 2021:  On Saturday, June 26th, from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, join a park interpreter for a scenic kayak tour along the Jimmie Creek section of Bull Shoals Lake.  We will spend time exploring the coves and shoreline and, hopefully, spot some wildlife in this remote area of the Ozark region.

All gear is provided.  Wear clothing that can get wet (dress in layers) and water shoes or sandals.  Please bring a water bottle, snacks for the trip, and any necessary gear if the weather is hot or cold (sunscreen, hat, fleece jacket).  Children under 13 must be in a tandem boat with an adult.    Space is limited!  Pre-register at the James A. Gaston Visitor Center or call (870) 445-3629 by Friday, June 25th.

COVID-19 SAFETY GUIDELINES ARE IN EFFECT FOR GUEST AND STAFF SAFETY.  SPACE MAY BE LIMITED.

Meeting place:  James A. Gaston Visitor Center at 8:30 am

*There will NOT be a shuttle provided.  Participants must transport themselves to the put-in location that is 20 minutes from the Visitor Center.

Admission:  $20 FOR Adults, $10 for Child 6 to 12 years old.
