Cotter-Gassville Chamber of Commerce Meeting

Oct 27, 2021:  The Cotter-Gassville Chamber of Commerce monthly meeting will be October 27th, 8 a.m. at The Lazy Dog Flea Market.  The Lazy Dog Flea Market is located at 6017 Hwy 62W next to the Ozark Relics Flea Market at the upper end of the parking lot.  The Cotter-Gassville Chamber is an all-volunteer non-paid group dedicated to our local community.  Please plan to attend and bring a friend.

Halloween Drive Thru Trick or Treat

Oct 29, 2021:  A Halloween Drive-thru Trick or Treat event will be held at the Cotter Fire Department Firehouse, 950 Harding Blvd on Friday, Oct 29th.  Follow signs and firefighter's directions to enter the firehouse bay.  Starts at 6 pm and ends at 8 pm.

Cotter Fire Dept Garage Sale & Silent Auction

Nov 13, 2021:  The Cotter Fire Department Auxiliary will be having a fundraiser at the firehouse, 950 Harding Blvd. on November 13th.  

  • Garage Sale 8 am - 4 pm
  • Silent Auction Bidding from 8 am - 5 pm
  • Chili 12 pm - 5 pm (eat in or carry out). $5 adults, $3 children
  • Drinks $1.00
  • Bake Sale (all day long while supply lasts)

Please help support our firefighters.  Donations needed for auction, garage and bake sales.  Call or text (870) 656-8547 (we will pick up if possible).  Call Chief Lyle Jack (870) 656-0472 to arrange a drop-off at the firehouse.

Christmas in Cotter

Dec 18, 2021 starting at 5 pm, CHRISTMAS IN COTTER:

Planning is underway to make the 3rd Annual "Christmas in Cotter" event the best ever for our community.  With the Peitz River Lights shining on the Cotter Ruthven Bridge, we are striving to turn the park into a dazzling holiday display from December 1st to December 31st.  The event on December 18th will include Christmas carolers, Santa Claus, the Polar Express Conductor, bonfires with S'mores and hot chocolate and other treats.  Awards will be presented for best decorated houses, and a new event this year, Big Spring Park Christmas tree contest.  As you tour the lights in Cotter and Big Spring Park (December 1-31st), tune into FM 106.9 for Christmas music.  This is a free event, and everyone is welcome.
