The 2012 Shawnee Supreme Invitational Trout Tournament in conjunction with the Cotter-Gassville Area Chamber of Commerce was a huge success this year in Big Spring Park.  Food, fun, fishing and prizes were furnished for all involved and it was another fantasitic turnout this year.  With 67 two-man teams in the March tournament, competition was strong as entries were filled with both novice and advanced fisherman from all over the region.  

Cody Cheek and Bobby Cheek won the tournament with a total weight of 7.33 pounds and also claimed the big fish winnings landing a 4.74 pound brown trout. Gary Grimm and Steve Cooper were the grand prize drawing winners of a brand new 2012 red and white L48 Supreme Boat.  Overall the tournament raised money for Cotter Chamber of Commerce and gave fisherman the chance to measure their skills against some of the best anglers the White River system has to claim.    Thank you to all involved and we look forward to seeing you at next years Shawnee Supreme Invitational.
