Golf Courses

If you like to hit the links, there are three different golf courses within a short drive from Cotter and Gassville and plenty more if you are willing to drive a little further.  Each of the three 18 hole golf courses around our area are unique within its varied setting and all are fun to play.

Area Golf Courses

  • Big Creek Golf & Country Club ~ Winner of Golf Digest's has giving this 7300 yard course the distinguished 5 star award as the best place to play for nine years in a row. The golf course covers over 200 acres and has a country club type setting but is open to the public.  Even though it is a fair course one should bring there A game though. With it's lush zoysia fairways, white sand bunkers, and multiple hole layouts/tee complexes makes Big Creek a go-to course for serious golfers.
  • Twin Lakes Golf Club ~ This semi private, 18 hole, par 70 course is located in Mountain Home and is a fun course to play.  Not as expensive as Big Creek, Twin Lakes is still challenging as it has tree lined fairways and good dog legs to challenge your ability.
  • Rivercliff Golf Course ~ Probably one of the more scenic golf courses in the area, Rivercliff Golf Course is a par 71, and has a length of 6,000 yards from the tips.  The course is just under the Bull Shoals Lake Dam with the front nine mostly stretching along the banks of the White River.  Not well known for it upkeep, its still a good front nine layout with a back nine that could be classified as unfair to say the least.

Winner of Golf Digest’s coveted five-star ranking nine years in a row, this Tom Clark-designed course in the Ozark resort/retirement destination of Mountain Home is not to be missed.

Since opening in 2000, Big Creek has become the go-to course for serious golfers visiting Arkansas. White sand bunkers, lush zoysia fairways and L-93 bentgrass greens provide the perfect conditions for your Ozarks outing. A variety of hole layouts and tee complexes makes Big Creek challenging yet enjoyable for all.
